In the begining of the season we see the Dragon, the most powerful being in the world (according to the old lady) fight Shalltear in her basic form and retreat, allowing Ainz to enter the stage and fight her in her final form (Bloody Valkyrie) and defeat her. Brain got a glimpse of the power of a guardian from Nazarick, but nobody experienced the true power of Nazarick's guardians, yet. Even, when you think about Sebas, he wrecks everyone without a sweat, and even us (the readers of the light novel) do not really know his full power, yet. I won't spoil any information on Sebas from the LN, since it can appear later on in the Anime, but it is awesome.

2021-12-14 02:06:04 +0000 UTCi think that was suppose to be the reveal for the anime because its not talked about in season 3 but since director and adorkable noticed.... the old lady was talkin about fighting a vampire she was talkin about evil eye, evil eye is a regular vampire and very old her heart stopped beating long ago, stronger than the human race. no where near shalltear tho shalltear is a True Vampire also mixed with other races including Valkyrie, Cursed Knight, Priest and other classes, but being a true vampire and valkarie kinda makes her OP really the guardians breakdown in classes and race and jobs was suppose to be in the first episode when ainz was going over albedo's build but all that got cut for time understandably..... as far as why shalltear didnt go for climb, thats explained briefly next season

Funny you talking about that Shalltear and Brain scene, you are close to guessing it. In the books it was pretty clear why Shalltear stopped, but might be spoiler and new season might give you guys the answer.

If I was in Gazef's place I wouldn't give that ring to Climb, if he was killed and he lost the ring it would have been a catastrophe, that ring is an extremely important treasure and he gave it to Climb 🤣😂😂 Climb cannot use the power of the ring to its full potential. It was much more efficient if Gazef used it.
