2022-01-11 13:46:45 +0000 UTCFor myself the most interesting and important part was in that snow scene with Nezuko&Tanjiro's little brother explaining that a person who only gets mad for others will lose themselves. There is possibility this story will build-up to Tanjiro vs Nezuko at some point.

We just don't know how far it goes as Muzan has lived for centuries and that flashback shows him as younger, which would mean over 100 years ago so that would mean it's impossible for it to be Tanjiro's father. Most likely his great great great grandfather is hanafuda earring demon slayer.

Tanjiro explicitly said they have the records to prove they were coal burners for generations. If his father was a Demon Slayer who fought and almost killed Muzan (episode 8), his name would've been known by literally everyone, and by extension everyone would know Tanjiro is related to him.

They are a badass duo Lets say this Tanjiro father must of had the bloodline that can beat demons. Tanjiro is like 3/4 blood just say and it boiled over and pushed passed his limits
