Well first of all Granny was just screwing around with Gar on his show. Also Artemis and Will were starting to look at each other differently, Waller was using her usual Suicide Squad to eliminate that Russian group and BB just wasn't liking how Kaldur and the others were just giving in to her so fast. Furthermore yes it was Violet who let Bedlam's assassin in the palace in the first place by accepting that damn bribe. Oh yeah Star Labs is certainly changing how they do things cause perhaps Virgil and the others running away from there in S2 taught them a lesson, that they needed to stop being so strict and ease up on the meta-kids in their care and now that's what they're doing and a good thing too. Also you're right to be suspicious about Dr. Jace.

This information does more harm than good to Brion. I'm sure Brion will find out and it will be a huge scandal, but Halo has no obligation to tell him.
