The story was cut short, there was a lot of important information in LN that unfortunately the anime did not show. But I like this anime, because I like the main character.

Orcus referred to himself as "Hangyakusha" meaning a rebel, which means he is rebelling against someone or something. A maverick is just a person who doesn't conform to conventions/traditions. In Moonlight Fantasy the MC is OP and has complete control over the situation when the ladies go after him. I think it would still be comedic if an OP lady MC had 2 weak companions trying to get with her but because she is strong and they have no chance it would still be funny because of the same reason (that they are failing so badly at their approach because they have no power over the MC)

After that they were going at it like bunnies all over that bright sunny compound. So in a way adorkable is right Yue is Hajime's only weakness. Just not in the way she thought. The show just slides past that it happens however it doesn't deny it. That is his Waifu.
