Also Ainz maybe the leader but he doesn't have to know what each of his floor guardians is doing. It like if the CEO of a company needed to know what parts go into a car or something they make.. As long as those department heads know and are doing what the company needs to get ahead its ok. One more thing remember if your kids were in a burning building who would you save first. If you got your kids out would you run back in for someone you didn't know or care about. If they are of no use to your family an you won't remember losing them should you feel guilty? That's how Ainz see it you have to be of some use to his family or a part of his plan or you did something that he thought was of worth to him personally or Naz.

But he has only done it for HIS people or experimentation. He will always put the people of Nazarick first. Because they are his remnants from his old friends. But the guild did play evil in the game so the majority of the NPC has an evil alignment, some are neutral or good but the majority are evil. So yeah. He is bad but not in a totally evil derange way. He does what he has to do to protect his people. Then his people are doing things he hasn't full control or knowledge about. But for his people, he is a great leader. So if you are one of his people you are safe. If not. Well.... Lets just hope he doens't have any need for you. :P

2022-01-20 10:41:54 +0000 UTCOh i agree a little, when i said that i was thinking more like things that he is doing that we could do too, like the healing experiments, to tell you the truth i think we have done worse especially if you look at the numbers, we have done things like the Tuskegee study, the Nazi medical experiments like god knows what they've done they had millions of people to use, japan unit 731 200,000 people died because of the biological warfare and medical tests they were doing in china, there's also the Guatemala syphilis study they infected people with syphilis, and like i said this is the little that we know and if you think looking back to the anime he is doing this to another species like demi is a demon he thinks of humans as animals or bugs he is doing what we did to dogs, horses, cows and many more animals, but we did it to our on people too, and sometimes the worse your technology is the worse the experiments will be for the subjects, if they try to re-attach a limb they probably will succeed in our case the people will suffer like hell and it will probably fail.

But if you look at Ainz from the perspective of an undead king (Overlord) then what he is doing is absolutely normal for him.

In New World these are even more effective, but we don't have hard numbers, and I don't feel like writing an essay abaut it now...just know that gaining exp, and lvling in general works different in New World, and the "being 30% weaker" side expenentialy boosts exp gained.

2022-01-20 04:26:10 +0000 UTCI think ainz and the whole tomb looks like a country in the period of one of the world wars or even nowadays to be true, they treat their people and the people who support them well, the propaganda is good and everything looks beautiful but in the shadows they are doing human experiments torturing people committing war crimes and much more shit, the things the demiurge is doing is nothing compared to the shit some countries have done and that's what we know they did, imagine what we don't know, and just like in the anime we don't really see them as villains and we make up reasons and try to defend them but them we reach a certain point that it's pretty obvious that they are the villains, people in real life do the same thing we don't see somethings, sometimes it's in our faces but until something really bad or a leak happens we don't really see it or we choose not to, I think it's a good parallel.

Plus what he did for Tuare by letting her come into Nazarick. He could have just killed her. Not to mention the fact that he wanted Sebas an her to go on a date. Now don't judge Azin on the things he does. Remember if other people had of made other choices. It's not Azin's fault that he has to respond with force when they make the wrong choice.
