man, this show really does well with the layered personalities. Queen Hilling and Bojji's dynamic is so heart warming.

2022-01-31 19:25:20 +0000 UTCDeam, I knew it's good, but THAT IS GOOD! The mom went from "Cersei ripoff" to a really good, and realistic character. She was a good mom, then she had her own son, and got a bit colder, but at the end of the day she wasn't anti-Boji, she truly belived that he is not qualified to be king...aaaand she is kinda right, no matter how bad Boji problems are he clearly is not fit to be king...yet. Will he be in the fture? Yea, totaly, it's kinda obvious considering he is MC

2022-01-22 11:58:36 +0000 UTCI see both your points too, whether she pushed for a vote in the interest of her child, or it was because of the demon, it's hard to say for 100% sure but I think we can all agree that she is a good woman at heart. Regarding the vote though, I think the vote was rigged regardless, she had 4 of the votes in her pocket, Dumas choice wouldn't sway the decision at all. I just think the way the episode showed how Boji took a second seat to her newborn child, showed she would always put her own biological son first. If that meant holding a rigged vote regardless of the Kings wishes with or without Demon showing up she would have – to improve her own biological sons standing. However I do respect thinking she loves them equally, and wouldn’t put one over the other.

I’m ready to attack on queens. Her jumping from tower. Was a massive display of her instincts to protect both her children. I think she basically panicked and held a vote

2022-01-21 22:26:31 +0000 UTCIt was done with a vote, i would agree if she pushed it, but it was done legally(using the word loosely here honestly). Again she looks at Boji as incapable but still loves him equally and it comes off as mean sometimes because she for sure doesn't know how to speak to kids. You can tell from how brutally honest she is and panics when it hurts boji. Also, no one said 100% objective, she definitely isn't. Just not seeing it the way you are, but the character is complex enough already where that will happen with different views of her.

She deliberately went against the King wish of making Boji king, in her sons interests, if she was 100% objective she would have given it to Boji – as the King decides who is his heir.

Tbh, neither of them should be king especially so young but i would probably choose deida still if i were in that world, i don't think many people think he's evil or anything. Maybe just a little pompous or too confident. All they know of Bojji is that he's deaf, weird and weak because i feel that's all he shows.

She is a good woman, she is just looking slightly more out for her kid, and mostly because she honestly believes Boji isn't ready.
