For example, if I was told I'd have to break a man's ten fingers or kill him, I'd break his fingers. But if I was told I'd have to break all his fingers and toes, stab him a bunch in non fatal areas, and cut out his eyes, I'd rather kill them. Its a tricky subject for sure. And sometimes it becomes even HARDER to determine what's right. For example, the Joker. If Batman actually killed the Joker, think of the thousands of lives he'd save. But by allowing the Joker to live, he's indirectly responsible for any lives the Joker takes

The rest were more concerned about climbing up the career ladder than actually teaching or caring about any of the students personally. Most of the teachers were reluctant to help students who needed it and only offered the minimum lip service.

You don't have to blur my username out. Plus I use the word "torture" because it softens the blow on the talk, because if you start out with saying r**e then it will lose a lot of people and they will just tune out the argument.

2022-01-25 02:57:02 +0000 UTCI feel like almost everyone is programmed to be so comfortable with murder in fiction. I still think that murder is the worst thing you can do to a person. Somehow people accepts "good guys"/protagonists can cross the line with murdering so easily. I think what can be close (but is lesser) to murder is torture both physically, mentally, and sexually. I know for a fact people are uncomfortable when someone tortures someone else, so if you are uncomfortable with someone torturing then you should be as uncomfortable with someone murdering, right? I don't know I'm altering my brain to not be a hypocrite with a lot of things, because we cannot experience murder like we can with torture, it doesn't mean it is less evil than the other actions.

I’m not sure though whether he did that before meeting the demons or if the demons put him up to it. 2. The kingdom that summoned them values Aiko (teacher) just as much as, if not more than, the students. The class she was given - Farmer - is incredibly rare and has the potential to singlehandedly revive a poor nations economy or save a country on the brink of starvation. That’s why, in that interaction with the pope in one of the earlier episodes Director was talking about, they were doing their best to keep her happy. There’s no chance the kingdom would be trying to eliminate her.

I think he was already feeling some kind of way, Went to try to get a monster that he overheard people talking about and then met the demons. I don't know for sure if that's true, but I just don't see that connection through the anime.
