2022-01-29 11:16:22 +0000 UTCPre-time skip, there are some instances in which Luffy does need to be rescued/get help, especially when fighting against the heavy hitters but for the most part it can just be the crew going on their own adventure. One thing I don't think many people acknowledge is that post-time skip, Luffy has had to ally himself with someone or else he wouldn't be able to advance. That's the main difference between Paradise and the New World.

Obviously at face value it’s about Luffy getting some friends and becoming King of the Pirates but there’s so much more to that. So much goes on around the world that we see and Luffy isn’t even apart of it. He’s not apart of it but it’s always has either something to do with him. Or something done because of what Luffy has done. Idk I might be rambling but I think there’s so much more to One Piece then and the world building then it may seem at face value

I just know by the time I got here I just wanted to keep going and seeing the next Arc and what was to come. I also wanted to be able to see the theory videos and reviews without being spoiled. 😁 I don’t really see if as Luffy being rescued all the time. Maybe it is just the wording … I don’t know. I think Luffy said it best when he was confronting Moria (I think) that he has surrounded himself with people that fill in for his weaknesses. They help him out so that he can get to the goal and then help him reach the ultimate goal. Rock D Lee I gotcha on Luffy resetting people’s dreams. I understood and agree. It isn’t that he wants you to give up on your dream, he wants you to run after it with passion. And if you have let that dream fall by the wayside, he is there to set you back on course. Rebecca would be a good example of that. He is the “Hero” without being a Hero. He wants all the meat after all.

Of course I'm sure that you know that already, having recorded past that part, and the best stopping point is not always what's ideal but rather when you you start to feel your energy wane and your attention wander. When it feels more like a chore and not as much fun is a good point to put a pin in it for the next day. Anyway I'll be looking forward to your next video.
