Essentially shows that he is the dominant one. It’s very reminiscent of when the kids all point out that Diaz has not been beaten by anyone.

Stingray being scared is understandable but so is Sam's reaction. Her father got his ass kicked really bad because he tried to know more about that lie.

Well yeah, if she doesn't have to fight for anything and has everything given to her, it's only natural to feel bad for someone that has a tough life and has to fight for everything, that's called empathy and it's a trait we all should have. But yeah, I get the way Sam is after what Tory has done to her in the past.
