The major part of the episode was the mid-end where she goes to talk to Kevin. I think this episode is mostly a dig at Marvel and how they write their endings. The Intelligencia plot meant nothing at the end.

We kinda knew it is because "Jen doesn't want what viewers want", she wanted a self contained personal story. Kinda boring I get that. Which is why the show is 6.5 or 7 for me. Yeah the writers went a unique route even if it wasn't thrilling, it was at least the most unique. That's cool.

We prefer to cover while it’s airing along with you guys for best results. And just be disappointed together. Shows like Bleach and Overlord have extreme shelf life. So it’s ok to cover those late.

So this episode didn’t do anything for me. Didn’t enhance my perspective. I know they follow an algorithm/trends. Lol. I do to. The show used a lot of energy basically going after haters…myself and the commenter above i take it….are not haters. So we got left unfulfilled. She didn’t want the classic boss fight…………lol. Well i did……. I logically understand why they didn’t. She explained it. She kept saying she was gonna solve with the Law. So I should not be suprised…. Hence why I barely complained. But at the end of the day. That’s not an exciting finishin.

She should have changed the way the story was going earlier in the season maybe episode 8 at the latest instead of just hand waving all these plot threads away. I would have 100% been fine with a case of the week show or tbh anything else that didn't require it to erase 8 episodes of the intelligencia plot. Also Skaar's hairline has me dying bruh

That’s why i was alone on the Superman prime reference lol. I know way more DC than i do marvel. Sometimes i mix names or character designs. In young justice, I usually. Usually. Didn’t say much because young justice was taking a different approach and I didn’t want my comic knoll messing up a blind experience lol for AdorkableNerd. Like when they teased apokoplips i let her think wrong. Lol. Comments couldn’t stand it. Everyone trying to explain and the show explained on it’s own. Lol. But I didn’t read comics. I just read about cool characters and resd about the storylines.

Instead of giving us a Marvel TV show ending, they decided to make an episode where they dunked on their haters instead. Their haters aren't even the ones who are going to actually watch the show, so I feel like I'm the one getting punished, for the actions of other people. Completely asinine. Left a sour taste in my mouth. This is exactly why I usually don't recommend anime (like Recoil) that we don't know how it's gonna end (from manga or light novels), because a shitty ending can taint a whole show. Thanks for reacting guys.

We were feeling weird about higher stakes showing up this slowly and late in the story and were feeling it will get rushed. Then turned out Jen didn't know about the repeated as hell blood plot so after finding out she was disappointed and she changed it. She didn't want this show to be like other marvel shows ending with big fight and big stakes. Her personal life after becoming She Hulk is what Jen wanted this show to be about. So it makes sense why this season was going slow about the heavy stakes bit all this time.

If the writers foresaw all of the criticisms that the show would get, and wrote it that way anyway, that’s a pathetic waste of the viewers time imo. 2022-10-16 07:54:37 +0000 UTCNow that this is all done I’ve gotta say that I’m just disappointed. I’ve grown past being upset or hating it but I just think it’s so unfortunate what’s been done here. She Hulk is such a dope character, I’ve had some of her comics since I was a kid (her ‘05 run was dope, y’all should read that) and I found none of that character in this show. This episode alone was just all over the place and it seems like the writers sacrificed ongoing plot threads and a satisfying conclusion, to dunk on fans. Frankly, this level of 4th wall break doesn’t have a place in television. It’s too much. She’s talking to writers about fixing a bad ending to a show instead of the writers actually fixing the bad ending to the show, it’s just odd. As a fan, this shit just makes me sad. I mean look what they did to my boy Skaar, and Hulk is pathetic. And the big enemy of the show was… angry YouTubers? Christ. Rant over

I’m not going to be one of the toxic trolls regarding that matter but it’s definitely there and not done tastefully. I’m all for meaningful messages and commentary like that but it needs to be executed well and not so blatantly in your face about it. Felt the finale was a cop out to pretty much wrap everything up without properly explaining stuff. Like everything felt it got resolved off screen since she asked for the new ending and we didn’t get time to interact with her changes to the ending before they resolved. Also Lee, am def proud to hear that superboy prime reference. He’s my favorite DC villain and man can he fight. He even breaks the fourth wall and I felt he did that stuff better than she hulk did here. Now u got me wondering how deep your comic book knowledge is lol

I wish I could have enjoyed this show more, but I'd probably rate it a 5/10, and that's only because of Matt Murdock. If he hadn't been in it, it would have been a 3 to be honest.

I also appreciated that they did everything they could to circumvent expectations. Would I have enjoyed seeing Jen Hulk out and smash her way to victory? Eh, maybe but we established in the show that’s not really how she handles issues. So they seem to have changed some things with the finale. When I watched it 4am on Thursday morning, the subtitles gave away the twist a bit by spelling Kevin, K.E.V.I.N. I also think the spot where it goes to the menu was a little longer before she spoke to let us know it was part of the show. Just a second or so shorter now. Good takes overall. Everyone is allowed to feel how they feel about the show. I’m surprised they introduced Skaar this way but I guess we probably won’t ever get a comic accurate World War hulk since they kind of blew that with Thor:Ragnarok. Needed Skaar to show up somehow though, as he’ll probably be taking the Hulk’s place as the angry one once they pass the torch.

So i told her. There is a certain way to work on communicating a point. Say, “ they could have done better with x y z”. Dont need to say. This sucked because they didn’t do x y z. I’m not sure how to work with her on that. But i know when folks are mean to her in the comments the reaction atmosphere gets tense.
