2022-11-16 09:48:49 +0000 UTCI think the captains' impression that Aizen hadn't used his power stems from their understanding of shikai powers. Everyone always has to release their shikai first before they can use their zanpakuto's powers. Since Aizen's sword wasn't released, they were confident he wasn't using his powers. But Aizen only has to have them witness the release once, then they're hypnotized forever. My questions is, why didn't Mayuri use his laboratory and servants *ahem*- I mean subordinates to manufacture some kind of satellite to watch the fight objectively from the sky and relay that information back to each captain fighting? Enemy UAV spotted. I don't think his perfect hypnosis will work on a robot without a soul. Send Terminator in. Well, I guess he could still manipulate their perception of the information that they're receiving from the satellite. Still a better plan than charging straight at him.
