I’m going the organized way. I was just saying it’s part of the course. I’m just not at that part. Also thanks. Writing has helped

If you want a physical learning resource, especially to practice writing, I can sincerely vouch for the Genki 1 & 2 books, as it’s what I’m using for my college class. It actually works, really well, and has solid lesson-to-lesson progression. And, since you do all this in your free time, it gives you a lot of room to take it at your own pace

If he is I'd say he's going about it in an unorganized matter. Though I won't judge the order should be: Hiragana, Katakana, rough basic sentence structure with vocab, な and い adjectives and some basic verbs (する、話す、考える、行く, etc.) Then kanji for N5 level (80 kanji.

Sounds dope. Yeah. I got the Busiu app for learning. Todai. I just downloaded that per suggestion thanks

Rock Lee

おめでとう on your progress thus far coming from another person learning Japanese. 私は日本語のがくせいです。Have you gotten around to studying Katakana or Kanji writing at all, and if not, are you planning to?

Kamo King

Anki is good for vocab. An app simply called Kanji Study is good for Kanji. You can also download Todai which gives you newspapers in Japanese, and translations so you can improve reading (it's REALLY good for both vocab and sentence structure too). If you're interested in physical books something like Genki 1 & 2 might help, although I haven't used them myself.
