Shadow probably hoped him getting not only once but multiple times wrecked by same moves from the president (school), that any mention of him being avg-great is entirely unfeasible with the whole body present to see it.

I real mob chracter would not show up, but because he did he got respect from then student president. So now he has more eyes on him. He was so worried about acting he didn't eve think to no show up. His friend were even surprised he was fighting.

2022-11-17 02:05:08 +0000 UTCI was a little disappointed in how the anime animated Cid's bloody background character techniques. They look like the same moves/cookie cutter. The LNs and Manga made them look far better. I know that both manga and LNs also only showed the first two or three, but they looked distinctive and different. I know theis is minor but it has to be discussed when ranking/comparing adaptations.
