no, i just think it would be a better story if it had more of a coherent structure. stories with structures like this tend to never have a pay off in the end. they just keep going.

2024-06-27 06:01:25 +0000 UTCYou have a fundamental misunderstanding of the genre... it very much still has a plot, but it's not always going to be focused on it. Ever heard of Yozakura family? It has an extremely seriously plot but 1/2 of the chapters are comedy/slice of life/character development/or side missions(the manga is about a family of spies). But then it gets into very serious arcs, it's constantly alternating between the two. Spy x familys main plot isn't as serious, and the main plot is interwoven with the slice-of-life aspect because it revolves around Anya at school which is fundementally a slice-of-life aspect. Again, I just don't think you understand this genre/style of manga.

2022-11-20 17:20:49 +0000 UTCtheres a reason why women make good spys and assassins. they arent taken seriously and guys get stupid around hot women. my one gripe about this show is after episode 10 or 11, it just kinda lost any plot. now its just single episode adventures with the characters(usually anya) just dicking around. Its not enough to make me drop the show or anything because i still find enjoyment in it, but it loses a few stars in a quality sense for me. There was an anime called sakugan. The world building in it was absolutely amazing and then they shit all over its potential by making it into a goofy episodic 'comedy' adventure. probably the most disapointed i've been with an anime before. ive watched and dropped plenty of anime, but i've never dropped one before that, that had soooo much potential. it could have been a lighter made in abyss. the parts were there.
