Yeah it’s so crazy cuz dude 100% needa go to jail. Scamming + coersion + not knowing difference between SA and Sexual Intercourse is more than enough to lock him up. It’s the mom adamant control that gives me pause but even like u said she did it jus cuz she was objectively right. The way I see it she loved the scammer but didn’t understand that feeling doesnt give him the right to take advantage of her and that’s the disconnect Woo had. Amazing episode really got me thinking

It also sort of made me think of the show Love on the Spectrum because it's all about young adults on the spectrum and their dating lives. I feel like the guy should def go to jail. But let's say he didn't do the whole credit card thing and didn't try to coerce her into sleeping with him it was purely consensual, I think the mom still would have brought it to court. I agree though that just like how people w/o autism have the choice to love or date someone bad for them autistic people can make the same decisions. Saying she doesn't have the tools to protect herself is true but someone can have the tools and still not be able to protect themselves from a bad partner because rose-colored glasses turn red and green flags pink anyways. and she could also still be trained on actual red flag signs so she could gain tools needed to protect herself while dating and just like those of us with such skills already, can decide what she'll do.

That's just my opinion, but like 5 the reactor channels I follow including yall have started attorney woo at similar times.

Considering everything I don't think that girl is able to consent at all, because she doesn't really understand the meaning and possible psychological consequences of sex. To me it didn't seem like she's able to connect that the distress she is and was feeling were (probably) caused by that incident. She doesn't understand how it affected her. And especially because there is a pattern, I don't think he had good intentions with her. This was another tough one because just like last episode, I wasn't on ''our team's'' side, so it's hard to watch the characters I like fight for something I think is wrong. But it's part of being an attorney i guess, so it's interesting to see that side of it as well.

2022-11-21 17:05:00 +0000 UTCIt’s an easy thing to miss but there is a date when the schedule was modified or takes place right there on the schedule. “ Patreon Schedule Schedule Begins 11-20-2022”. That date is Sunday. Prior to the chance Bleach was being released during the weekday for that week. I added Uncle From Another World and scooted Bleach to Saturday. So anything BEFORE the date of change you have to ignore because the schedule was modified. So to be clear. This schedule is saying there will be a Bleach release this Saturday. Not a missing one because it began 11-20-2022

I do what i can moving through the day. Attorney woo doesn’t have such a big lead on patreon as youtube so i gave it special care to get these folks an early release on this episode. Bleach is gonna come ASAP. Which is vague. I never commit to an exact time so i can manage expectations. So the straightforward answer is always “it’s gonna come asap”. I never promise a time or window.
