2022-11-29 19:28:24 +0000 UTCBe careful about using anime to learn new words/pronounciation btw. People in my class got scolded by our teacher in Japan for sounding like anime characters when they speak. Imagine someone learning how to speak English by watching Shaggy in Scooby Doo lol

I was almost fluent in conversational Japanese when I left college but never had the chance to use it and have since forgotten 80% of what i learned. So make sure to use it but it’s really cool and I’m happy you’re achieving your goal!

Due to the vast amount of hiragana, katakana, and kanji, even small errors can be misinterpreted as something else or be very hard to read
