Even now, I never actually used what I learned outside the gym. The thing with bullies is if you let them get away once, they will just keep doing it. You need to fight back even if you get beaten to a pulp. Because Its a lot of trouble picking on someone who fights back at all. Also MC looks really different compared to manwha. He was supposed to be like really short and thin and with a pretty, feminine face. Which is why he had to use knowledge to fight. He looks normal here.

In society, I agree the escalation is unwarranted and bullying does not equal a life, but when it comes down to survival instinct, you don't let someone violate you and not respond with force to neutralize the threat for good. (make sure no one messes with you again). Once you put up with bullying even once, you invite more bullying. Like director said in some cases, even this retaliation here still isn't enough to get the bully to stop, in fiction of course.

2022-12-16 00:48:19 +0000 UTCah there is one thing i want to explain about how classes work since someone just mentioned about the teacher. the teachers aren't ALWAYS in the room. they have their own office and the students generally stay in their 1 class (tho they may move for subjects like science that requires lab work i believe), so during breaks, the teachers may be out of the room cuz they travel between classroom to classroom. i always see a lot of ppl mention it in their reactions but yeah, the students are generally given tasks (like grading their own work with the answer sheet and cleaning) while the teachers prepare for their next classes and the like.

It's going to be very interesting seeing what yall think as we get further into the series~ and I really love Sieun (main guy). It's so rare you have a "bullied" character actually stand up for himself & snap like that esp so early on. (i'm ngl, storywise i also love his use of "weapons" like the pen and the book. another thing you don't really get in the show, but i love how Sooho, guardian angel, comes around and is like "don't cross the line". Their relationship is so fun)
