Most times players would get the ball move it little to the side positioning it for their shot, but what they are trying to highlight here is that Isagi will try to shoot however and whatever angle the ball comes to him.

You’d be surprised how many players, who aren’t the most technically gifted, take advantage of just being in the right space to go for it

2022-12-18 04:32:54 +0000 UTCLee, if I understand him correctly, I think what he meant is Isagi’s direct shot is impressive because he’s shooting a ball that comes spinning from a different angle, direction and speed, but he doesn’t control the change of angle, and spinning speed but immediately shoot it towards the direction he wanted without the initial ball momentum affecting his shot. And he does it without training. Usually one needs training to adjust their shooting towards the direction they wanted with a fast spinning ball.

He’s just shooting it as he’s not taking the time to control the ball. “direct shot is special because he shoots the ball without controlling it on the landing” = he just shoots it. Its an example of agreeing on the material facts but the word choice throws people off. Semantics

But I was just simply correcting your statement on him getting carried. Not being a star player on the team doesn’t mean that you’re getting carried is what I’m tryna say and yes ofc I like his character a badass savage mc in a sports anime and no matter which character you were talking about if you were wrong about something I’d def correct you on that matter. You’ll understand more about what I’m saying about him controlling the field in the 2nd selection games.

Naruto doesn’t beat anyone earlier on because he is talented but he works hard to improve. Isagi is on that same path; he isn’t there yet but it’s about his journey. It’s obvious you like him and want to hype him up. It doesn’t change the fact that Isagi is just a role player at the moment. Team sports need role players but they aren’t the stars.

2022-12-18 02:21:33 +0000 UTCHe’s not the piece he’s the one who uses the rest of his team mates like pieces of his puzzle to score his goals.Football isn’t about scoring goals by yourself it involves a step by step process.Using his team mates skills to score goals isn’t called getting carried 😂 he’s basically like the leader of the team that guides them and uses them in the field with his spatial awareness abilities hence why Nagi said he’s the most dangerous one on the field
