I'd say she's closer/comparable to Beta's level. i do think if beatrix joined shadow garden she'd be comparable to Alpha. I low key think giving what happened in season 2 that Clair might actually have the potential to beat alpha.

The reason that Beatrix can have awakened Hero's blood but not the possession, is the possession also needs to have Vampiric blood. Therefore, we can logically assume that Alpha's father had Vampiric blood in some amount, and thus Alpha can suffer the possession curse.
