2023-11-20 06:54:31 +0000 UTCif you're curious to know why they always slurp their noodles like that, it's 2 reasons, 1 so they don't break. it's a superstition that if you break your noodles you will have bad health. long noodles= good longevity so don't break your noodles especially your first new year noodles! 2nd, slurping loudly shows your host you like their food :) idk if people do that commonly anymore tho i think it's moreso a cultural sign of closeness to the person you're with.

So every time he said nan they're thinking he is talking about eating himself, not the bread.

2023-11-20 02:30:48 +0000 UTCNot a spoiler but the ML loved to ad-lib his scenes and the director allowed him to do it because it was usually better than what was in the script. An example of that is the dinner scene in the beginning when you can see the FL look at the director (5:20) when ML broke character and they just kept rolling and kept it as-is. It really made their scenes so much more comical. I'm loving the reaction to what was nicknamed the Puppy Couple.
