The fridge thing is the least realistic part of the show. There are layers upon layers of systems to make sure people don't get locked in a freezer. The idea that they would all somehow break is kind of crazy. It's hard to explain without seeing one in person, but trust that it is about as impossible as anything else.

I agree. It's sad.

Moment of silence for Claire - one of the most wholesome/non-toxic people in this show. They've clearly shown that things can run without Carmy so now's the perfect time to get some serious therapy as he has no business being in a relationship or even running anything till he sorts himself out. If not, he'll keep imploding jeopardizing others in the process. Richie now full on emanating true MC aura anytime he's on screen.

This show is great, was holding off on starting season 3 until y'all caught up. The final scenes with Carmy, Claire and Rich were top-tier. Crazy when you think about it Carmy had a crush on Claire since school (Michael and Richie mentioned it during the Christmas episode) - just bad timing. Great father daughter moment with Syd and her dad too after he realises she'll be more than good with this line of work

Such a rough situation having Uncle Cicero and syd and the whole restaurant on one shoulder saying they need his focus and Claire and Richie on the other asking him why he’s disregarding everything BECAUSE of what’s on his other shoulder. The relationship just shouldn’t have happened to begin with but I can’t blame Carmy for trying to be happy for once in his life. Just wrong timing in life.

What's I like is that even though Carmy and Syd are experts at cooking, the real MVP is Richie who ended up being better than them at Expo and Front of House. Richie's strength is that he is almost an empath. He cares about how the customers are, but he also cares about keeping the morale of the staff up (which is why he always throws in words of encouragement in between his ticket calls to keep the back of house happy and confident)

Syd's dad taking his hat off reminded me that he was the actor that played Meteor Man
