Spent the last few hours testing upscalers, sadly I don't enjoy any, I want a upscaler that is able to give me sharp results but still maintain the skin texture intact and more importantly keep the 'goosebump' effect, which are these tiny strands of hair or cloth around the character creating a cool 'outline', most fail miserably, I tested all, Ultrasharp, Valar, Siax, Lexica, etc...
I'm very picky about my shit, and this is also time consuming because I need to wait for the render to bake to check the results, it's like Blender all over again ffs.

Yep that's exactly that, is not just a 'model' problem is also a 'upscaler' problem, cartoon stuff does not have this problem because we (most of us) use R-ESRGAN, but 'Realistic' stuff is a different beast, so many variables.
