Happy New Year everyone, and I hope you all enjoyed the holidays.
After my last update before the end of the year, I’m very happy to now share ESTATE Part 17 with you.
As mentioned in the WIP, this month took a bit of a turn. What initially started as a focus on stable interior clutter and functional pieces slowly shifted once I fell into researching Regency manor boot rooms and service spaces. I became really drawn to these quieter, practical interiors — spaces that are refined, but clearly made to be used.
The result is a move toward a mud room / boot room direction, inspired by 19th-century estate houses, where function and structure come first, and decoration follows naturally.
The starting point for this space is the St. Ponderley cabinet system. The idea was to create something that feels like built-in estate joinery rather than standalone furniture. Tall proportions, restrained detailing, and ladder access hint at long-term storage and everyday order — the kind of elements you’d expect in a well-established house.
The system is modular and designed to run seamlessly across walls, allowing you to build anything from a small boot room setup to a full estate-scale storage wall. The muted tones and classic detailing are kept deliberately understated so the pieces sit comfortably alongside earlier Estate releases.
This set represents the first part of the room. I’ll be continuing with the rest of the space next month, expanding on the same ideas and atmosphere, and bringing in more of the surrounding elements.
As always, thank you so much for all the support — it really does mean a lot, and I’m very grateful to be starting the year with such a wonderful community.
Lots of Luv,
Felix xx
