The result still feels like 80% Percy to me. The current familiar is an a ancient Godess with probably 100000+ memories once they are restored. That would affect the character probably way more. I think they might also get a mind treasure for her in the void tournament, acid might give more mutations but for a hivemind creature with a soul storage not getting mind affinity would be kind of wasted. So bye bye water affinity. Water ring would be awesome though, since elaine could use it too.

2025-12-21 21:55:31 +0000 UTCI actually hope he gets a really cool water blessing instead of a composite one, because water is my favorite element and I really want to see its extremes explored. Not to mention that if he ends up fusing with his newest familiar years down the line, that’ll give him a second water affinity base from the acid core. Overall, I just wanna see the water element be explored as its own thing outside of ice. If not then I’m hoping Elaine continues to be a main side character cause if Percy doesn’t do it she definitely will as long as she keeps up.

2025-12-21 15:19:21 +0000 UTCI think the 3rd wave magiscript of green would be like the first wave in blue. Combat wave 6 in green would be wave 1 in blue. But that does not necessarily mean 3 wave magiscript is like beating someone a grade higher, probably just that you need lots of prior knowledge, therefore they start at lower points on higher grades.

2025-12-21 13:58:31 +0000 UTCI am confused. The Magiscript goes up a color grade every three waves, and that's easier than the combat which takes double the number of waves to go up? I can agree that it's easier than the combat scaling simply because it's harder to fight up grades than it is to draw runes up grades(especially when a lot of the difficulty is taken away by the super writing ability), but the way it's written sounds as if it's simply how quickly you go up grades is the important factor, and then you contradict yourself since the magiscript goes up in difficulty faster...
