And i think it's highly likely his wasp familiar is getting mind affinity, so he could get access to the type that way. So no point in changing affinities before the 3rd core.

2026-01-24 12:18:16 +0000 UTCI've been thinking about his pure mana as this chapter references the mind. His pure mana allows for physical weight, it is necessary for his fighting style in that it gives him his cloak, weapons, and platforms for movement, along with the flying projectiles like the scythes and crows. For his alchemy it allows for his cauldron, aurora dew, and I believe all the runes are forged usually with pure or phantom mana to have a physical presence. It seems the foundation for almost everything he does and I can't see changing it at this stage in the game. Life would allow cool and different options like organic decoy clones of almost anyone imaginable, but I can't see him being able to alter his extreme spell or alchemy to keep or alter what he has, pure mana is too key to what he has. I do think one day he'll get the Trinity of elements (mind, soul, life) but I'm not sure how.
