Remember like 3 episodes ago when we weren't sure of Lillith? Yeah, they made her friends with Hooty so we'd love her. And it's amazing! So effective!

Looking back at this episode, knowing what I know now from later episodes, I get more emotional when I hear King describing,"I heard a roar, then something happened. I was too small to do anything so, I went back to sleep." Then, he woke up again and hatched and the creature King calls "John-Luke" takes care of him is there. I know what happened. And anyone who has seen the whole show knows what happened. Such a sad story.

I AM DISGUSTED BY YOUR SACRILEGIOUS POINT OF VIEW! I'm joking, totally joking. I understand. I was the same way about Hooty. Then Knock-Knock-Knocking on Hooty's Door happened, and he was solidified as a loved character in my book. Don't get me wrong I already loved him, but I did find some of what he did annoying up til that point. Now, going back, I love every single second of Hooty. He's amazing! I love every single second of King, too. Oh, who am I kidding I love every single second of this show!

I’m going to commit sacrilege and say, I was starting to get tired of King towards the end of S1. The delusional boasting, the selfishness, the lessons he’d learn being reset for comedy. He’s cute, but was getting kinda obnoxious. King centric episodes became my least favorite. Maybe this is a turning point for him.

Make me wonder if King's dad and Belos fought against each other at some point. This episode was more emotional than I expected for a King-centered episode.
