The Great Water - info about the situation in Poland

Today I wanted to talk to you a little bit more about what is going on in Poland and why I haven't posted this weekend.

So let's start from the beginning. I was planning a trip to my cottage in the mountains this weekend because I needed to rest and take some beautiful photos. Unfortunately a few days before we got alerts about huge storms and rain that can locally cause some flooding. At that point I wasn't really sure how huge it's going to be so I went on this trip anyway... I knew that my cottage was higher up the mountains and even tho there's a stream going through my land, the whole area was pretty safe. Beside that my Grandma now lives there and I wanted to see her as well and be close in case something goes wrong.

The rain started Friday evening and continued till Sunday. There were times when it was really hard to drive a car, not to mention even going on hikes. The mountain streams were huge and dangerous so I could forget about the photoshoots. After it all calmed down a bit I went to see my Grandma because she was living pretty close to a village that was completely flooded and many people were evacuated. Luckily she is completely safe, I am safe and my little cottage is safe as well.

If you want to see photos and read about it a little bit more here's a link: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0jwp3ppp6xo

I chose to post this photoshoot I did some time ago for a black metal album cover because I cannot find anything more fitting and "appropriate"... if there's even such a thing.

Sorry once again for not posting and I hope you'll understand. You can expect new photoshoot this weekend.

Love, Erinthul.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I saw a video of that man and I am still wondering how he glut out of the water? One wrong move and he could fell into the wild river

All are wonderful as usual... But I really love the first one... Makes me long for that horizon. May the storms flow around you and all that you care for ...

Wow! That's really crazy. The article says Storm Boris has caused disastrous flooding in several countries. And one crazy man decided to swim in Prague's flooded Vltava River. I'm deeply sorry about this situation, Ania, which basically ruined your weekend plans, although thankfully you, your grandmother and your cottage are safe. Very stressful, I'm sure. And of course it's easy for me to say, but I somehow wish you had taken photos with those very unique and wild conditions! You have taken big risks for the sake of art in the past! :D No, just kidding. This was really awful and dangerous, and the nightmare isn't over in some places. These are delightful images, carrying your sickle and your lantern while wearing the epic Son de Flor dress. Fantastic feminine poses, and you made the water splash in photo 3! So nice. What a fabulous collection created in a beautiful place! And stay safe!

Glad to hear your grandmother and you are safe 🤗. I work with quite a few central and eastern Europeans here in the UK and so the floods have been more on my mind than perhaps they would be otherwise.

As a volunteer firefighter, I‘ve seen what floods can do to people and their property. Just last spring I‘ve spent several nights and days pumping out cellars and building sandbag barriers. I wish you and your loved ones all the best. Don’t worry about some strangers on Patreon. We will still be here when the water is gone and the cleanup is done.
