The trio dressed themselves hastily in the largest clothes they had, before dragging Tim to the cab waiting out front, the exhausted young man practically unconscious by then.

The cab driver looked alarmed at the sight of them. He fully craned his neck, before appearing aghast, and turning to face forward. His eyes would continuously turn to the rearview mirror, his look of shock not tapering in the least.

Edward felt uneasy. He tried to relax as the cab sped off. He was growing fast, and had admittedly done a lot of binge-eating in the beginning of his latest pregnancy, wanting to beat Tim at the time. But that had been before Tim’s latest birth. Suddenly Edward wasn’t feeling too competitive anymore.

He was also very nervous that he was getting so far along before a flight, but his intuition told him that he would make it through and to the scroll’s original resting place (if only just).

Tim seemed to be going in and out of consciousness, eyes fluttering open and closed. He was probably speculating over the fact that Edward had somehow gotten him even more pregnant. Now Tim probably had to contend with the baby of Edwards he was carrying in addition to the one the scroll had probably manifested in his belly the minute he had given birth. Edward wondered if he was worried about the potential size of his newest babies. The last one had to have been at least twenty pounds, big as it was.

James was quiet and thoughtful, and every so often he would dart Tim a look. Edward thought he could detect disappointment. Edward hadn’t missed the hungry gaze James had given when he had walked in on them having sex. He remembered James’ words. I want in. James was probably feeling desperate for release after abstaining for weeks while taking care of everyone else. Edward didn’t know quite what to think of the look. Tim was carrying Edward’s child, after all.

The cab came to a stop. The pregnant trio hauled themselves out and entered the airport.

People stared and gawked, and froze in place at the sight of the three pregnant young men. A woman dropped her purse. Edward, James, and Tim awkwardly waddled to a ticket kiosk, thankful that they didn’t have to check-in at the counter and be gawked at by everyone out front. Of course, that probably would have been preferable to their experience at security.

People ogled, pointed, and whispered, some looking as alarmed as the cab driver had. TSA couldn’t seem to understand their dimensions. The boys suffered through pat-downs and groping as their bellies strained their T-shirts and babies lurched in discontent. They were all near delirious from fatigue, arching and fidgeting, which didn’t help them look any more innocent. Tim started leaking at some point, which further disturbed the TSA agents, and they were nearly pulled off the line to be interrogated. But then James made up some ridiculous story about being intersex and started throwing around the word “discrimination.” After than, they were shuffled through.

Things didn’t get any less stressful. People continued to goggle them as they waddled by gate after gate on the way to their own. By the time they reached Boarding Gate T18, the three were distressed to find the words Delayed 2-Hours across the announcement screen.

“Fuck,” Edward groaned in anguish, rubbing the side of his gut. The mound felt uncomfortably tight. He hoped his baby wasn’t having a growth spurt.

“Well, look on the bright side,” said James wearily, annoying optimist that he was. “Food court’s right here.” And he motioned forward towards and expansive food court congested with what seemed to be all their favorite restaurants.

Edward felt himself salivate.
