What a day
Added 2020-10-23 16:39:44 +0000 UTCDid you ever had a day when you thought that getting up from bed in the morning was generally a bad idea?
Well... I'm having one such day today.
I woke up in the morning only to realize, that one of the 8TB drives in my RAID5 array has failed during the night and the array is in a degraded mode. During the afternoon I was able to purchase a new drive and replace the failed one. So the array is now slowly rebuilding and 330 EUR is missing from my wallet...
I turned on the news only to find out that Paparazzi managed to catch our new minister of health, with a few other guys leaving a restaurant during the night without wearing a face-mask while the restaurants are closed these days due to the nation wide COVID lockdown measures and wearing face-masks in public is now mandatory. So... talk about leading by example...
Later this day I called an ambulance for my mother because it looked that she was having a minor stroke. My mom is refusing to be taken to the hospital because, quite naturally, she is scared of the COVID as hospitals in the entire country are pretty much at their maximum capacity and the army is now quickly building makeshift hospitals inside of airfield hangars.
I'm really worried what comes next as the day is still far from over... :(

One day at a time, my friend, and here's hoping things get better for you.
