The Cahnge of Management (working title)
Added 2021-03-30 08:13:27 +0000 UTCFor a few days now I'm playing with the idea of trying to make an attempt at an interactive story / game (kind of like the old "Far Future" I did years ago).
The game engine would be still RAGS as it is the only one I'm familiar with and the nature of the engine really allows more an interactive story than a game. Well... At least with my non-existent level of JavaScript that is used for scripting in there...
Plot would roughly be along the lines of a new SUZEtech branch office manager going to take over after the previous one had an accident that resulted in switching career tracks from product chain management to simple product. Your task would be to not only take over but also to uncover the truth behind the accident as the internal investigation failed to answer all questions clearly.
Status, as of now is that during the weekend I was able to put together a working part of map of the game-world that most of the story should take place in and I made a list of (probably still not all) stationary traps (and their outcomes (that can sometimes be different (based on conditions)) the player can encounter and get a "bad end" from.
As it would be a SUZEtech universe themed 'game', most traps and bad ends would be around various inanimate transformations. However, as I'm generally open-minded when it comes to various fetishes, there would probably be elements from other genres as well.
No promises on release dates or anything. This is just a very early stage of fleshing things out and it may get shelved at any time. It is just something that I can potentially work on without having access to my rendering equipment, so I can pretty much work on it, kind of whenever I have access to any computer.
Being it a RAGS game, which means mostly a text based game it would mean a lot of text would be needed, which, by itself, is kind of a red-flag for me... Because I'm not a writer and English is not my primary language...
o... Yeah... Also... at the beginning the core game would be probably pure text only with no images (maybe few generic placeholders).
If it ever gets any progress done in a way that it reaches any kind of meaningful and playable state, then it would probably be released here on Patreon.
