2026-01-31 04:57:49 +0000 UTCFairwell all, after almost 9 years as a member, and AU$35 behind, I'm out. May come back if Tef promises become a reality, until then goodbye.

2026-01-30 18:14:38 +0000 UTCI support this idea, unfortunately I sincerely doubt it can/will happen. I’m not sure Patreon allows you to change your subscription model without resubscribing all your patrons, which would be a massive risk for Tefler. Also then, it would no longer allow Tefler to increase his income that month when he falls short financially. I love this story, but no longer believe I will live long enough to see it mostly completed. I’m also not sure about many of the estimates of Tefler’s income are all that accurate, I suspect Patreon takes a much bigger percentage than is believed.

2026-01-26 02:18:52 +0000 UTChi Thomas, let's do the math, ... the last (partial) chapter was #179, and the most recent placeholder (that Tef was paid from) was for chapter #202, ... that's 23+ chapters in arrears, ... I like to think of it as story security -- which then implies that the Author will keep on writing for many more chapters adding to his wonderful tale, ... :-) ttfn

2026-01-26 02:04:38 +0000 UTChow can there placeholders for 5 chapters after the last completed chapter

2026-01-25 18:15:36 +0000 UTCI only read completed chapters, the cost for each completed chapter, at best, being charged twice for that "privilege", at worst, more $ if he adds more than one placeholder either or both months. I'm done next weekend before payment, unless we see C179 completed AND a complete C180, I extremely doubt that will happen. It was fun before the disappointment, and seeing nothing for the money I've spent.

2026-01-15 22:17:06 +0000 UTCIn Tefler-Speak, Any time frame given (hours, days, weeks) all equate to End of the Month... And severe disappointment...

2026-01-14 20:25:26 +0000 UTCTef's readers from early on remember when he would drop chapters at a much more rapid rate, ... however, he has been writing this series for the last 10 years, and the story has gotten increasingly more complex as the chapters go by, ... and then there are all his 'Tef Twists' as well, .... this story now is much harder to write, ... I think, .... -- A two chapters a month rate is a worthy goal, yet Tef may not be able to keep to this pace, ... I think that a chapter and a half per month may be more doable, ... for Tef to drop one chapter one month and two chapters the next month could be more possible for our Author to produce, ... ;-) ttfn

2026-01-09 13:23:33 +0000 UTCQuit lying to yourself, Tef. Two chapters a month is one every 15 days or so. Unless you have bunch of chapters already well laid out, and you having nothing else to do (like eat and sleep), it just ain’t happening. It’s just pushing down your own morale to keep promising things that you know can’t possibly happen. I’m a published author myself (get nice royalty checks every month on books I wrote ages ago). I KNOW how tough it is to do even a chapter a month. It’s only because this is such a great saga that any donators have stuck around. But keep going like you have been, and it’ll all disappear. Hoping this New Year works out better for you.

2026-01-07 18:28:13 +0000 UTCTefler, just switch to a monthly support plan rather than a per chapter plan. Everyone will feel better about it and you won't have to make the same excuses every month when you didn't complete your goal.

2026-01-03 16:32:43 +0000 UTCI am all in with your writing and storytelling, so I wait! You cannot rush art! I’d rather read to your standard of word craft thus far, than be subjected to substandard dribble that you felt forced to crank out. I discovered you on Literotica, and have been impressed and entertained enough to become a supporter. You would do yourself and ultimately, your fans, by rushing out an unworthy chapter/chapters. So, I wait, expectantly. Oh, and Happy New Year!
