2017-09-28 17:31:03 +0000 UTCOn catching up to the latest Dick Show episodes as a new Patreoni, I interrupted listening to episode 48 to eventually spend my night watching the Maddox 2: Electric "I'm Better Than You" vs. Dick debate, ft. "Destiny (the most generic name in the universe)" and eventually shit-posting on the latter's youtube post with a quote of every Dick zinger that impossibly landed like an F-14 Tomcat in a highly unfair NES game that's clearly rigged itself against the player in order to make more money of of everyone who doesn't know how to stop playing. If there is a next time, bring in the highly empathetic Tuop Zheuanayon, audio engineer, to his Trail of Coward Tears of a show, and have Destiny then try to present his same fake affectation of fucking humility and humanity. I think Xuahnu could make him truly feel like the liar he is.

(btw you can still have a peek at it, you've just got to lean forward, I mean, you stick your hand back there, it's easy enough to get it back out.)

He can make factual statements, but doesn't seem to know how to find a common ground and bridge the gap, which is something Dick is generally good at doing. By finding a way to relate to your "opponent", you are much more likely to make them understand your point, and this is entirely more important than "winning" an argument. You can't make people accept your side of an issue by pissing them off.
