Dick I totally agree about your views on not asking people about their jobs. I'm a cop and I hate people I've just met at parties etc asking me what I do, because then all they want to do is ask me what the most fucked up thing I've ever seen is, or bitch about some cop who gave them a ticket ten years ago. I don't give a fuck, I'm just here to enjoy myself, not to talk about work. Or once they know what I do, they assume I give a fuck about the slightly illegal things they've done, as if I'm going to arrest them for some stupid shit that in all honesty most on-duty cops wouldn't care about either. Islam isn't a race, so not only is it possible to separate it from race it had nothing to do with race at all.
