2021-02-21 11:49:36 +0000 UTCThe guy they attribute inventing peanut butter to actually didn't, he did way cooler shit, like introduce crop rotation in the south to fix the soil nutrients, which involved swapping out peanuts and cotton. I guess that was too much work to explain so they just go with the digestible "he made peanut butter". Thanks for the shit talk on the last comment. gfy
