and a little bit of context how our Illustrations play into the stuff happening "in-universe":
PIVOT is the prized fashion magazine Iris always wanted to land a feature in. As you may already guess: That's really hard, almost impossible even, for an independent designer.
From the LN synopsis and the prologue you could already read how she seeked the opportunity meeting up with Elena, who's in turmoil struggling to find herself after the smear campaign and legal battle LaLuna launched at their former newcomer star.
But how does PIVOT play into this?
Let's say they are intrigued. A single model able to make a large dent in the image of a giant conglomerate? This is big media after all!
So it's a pretty smart (and risky) move from Iris to catch the tiny chance to even be able to acquire such a famous face to get PIVOT's attention. It's her one in a lifetime chance!
But does she really just want to bloom her styles or does this sassy cat hold more secrets than she is letting on? Either way she can't lie to her heart and the passion for fashion!
