October Thanks You's and Updates!

First and foremost, it's time to thank my patreons for their continued support. We also have two new patreons who squeaked on in before the end of the month. So for them, it's a welcoming thank you for joining, and choosing to help support me. Thanks to all my backers, without them I'd pretty much be unable to do most of what I do. It means a lot that you like my work enough to support me in this way.

So yeah, let's talk updates and future works starting with Halloween. Honestly I'd consider Halloween a sort of bust at this point. I did get season appropriate work out, but the first two weeks of Halloween proved rough for my health and stymied workflow. What sucks the most is that considering the state of the world right now, we could all really use some big holiday and festive energy. But here we are I suppose. Best not to dwell too much on what's passed, and focus on the path ahead. Or at least pin or hopes on it.

Due to picking up the slack for Halloween and September stuff, I didn't get a lot of time to write this month. In fact, I got pretty much no time on fic progress. However, since thanksgiving is not a big commission draw, I'll be able to free up more time for writing in November. I'm actually working on two things alongside each-other at present. A smutty animal crossing one off that's about half way done, and then there is of course the ongoing “The Family Vulpes” fic. Which despite being an easier chapter to write than previous ones, at least in theory, I've had to restart twice due to editing and major mistakes.

Next up, art wise I'm setting up holiday commissions early, as I expect Christmas to be busy. But that said I'm trying to make sure I balance the commission work with personal work so we don't go too long without some Dawn and Vern content or other art.

I'm even skipping the November poll to allow myself more time to focus on December, both for work and family reasons. In the meantime I'll be pondering what would make a good Christmas poll this year. I was suggested  a reindeer poll, but...we'll see...

Lastly we've got health stuff. At present I'm doing better. I'm taking heavier anti-inflammatory meds which seem to be working much better than just the Tylenol, and seems like it may be making me less exhausted? I can't be sure, but for the time being it seems to be doing the trick, so I'm going to see how long I can ride it out. As for doctors trips, I've reached a “I don't want to go to any doctors for a while” kinda mood. After a while you just get sick of being shopped around to other doctors only to turn up nothing but dead end after dead end. It makes you frustrated, and makes you feel kinda crazy. So I need a break from all that.
