June Update (Tentative Planning)

As always, I'd like to start this "State of Wasty" address by taking the time to thank my Patreon members. We got a few new ones over the last few months. Not sure what I did to deserve the uptick, but still a thousand times thank you to my Patreons both new and old!

God, so where to start? Well, as you know, my planned 'Sabattical' was a complete and total disaster. Up until about mid-April I was going through one of the worst flare-ups I've had in a while, and since then I've been playing catch up on planned projects and tutorial stuff...which admittedly I didn't get much of done. I did animate some stuff...or rather...make some motion animatics. I've got two of 'em up so far, and those of you who weren't made aware of them on the Patreon can check them out at the channel below.

Incidentally, some of my more ancient animations are on there that prove I used to have some degree more talent, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things here...It's been like a decade since most of those old ones. (Getting sick really threw a wrench into things back then).

So what's on tap for June? I've got some tentative plans. I want to get working on 'Savage Love" Page 3, and "Burrowed Into My Heart" Page 5, I've also got not one, but two chapters of "The Family Vulpes" in the final editing stages, so you can expect the first part sometime soon. I'm also looking to open up public commissions again in mid-June...but that's not a hard confirmation as it depends on my health. Right now I seem to be going through a bit of a mild flare-up, and so work happens whenever I'm awake enough to start driving away at a project. I'm still trying to work out a medication plan that will actually stabilize my heart and breathing and I and my doc aren't quite there yet. Hopefully, when we do nail it, my condition will stabilize to something not perfect, but at least close to consistent.

I'm also looking into merch content, stickers, and the like. I'm also looking to make my first gumroad art pack over the summer (Which Patreons will get a chance to suggest and then vote for exactly what ladies will be featured). I'm planning five slots for this 'Summer of Sin' project, all of which will feature villains or vaguely 'bad girls'. (Dawn is disbarred from the running, as I draw her pretty frequently so chances are she's getting more pinups outside of this pack.) I haven't finalized pricing yet, but Patreon members will get a discount.

Last thing I want to get in before I call this update finalized and ready to post is that I'm going to a furry convention! That's right, Wasty will be at the Denfur convention in august from the 19th to the 21st. I won't have a booth or be on a panel or anything, I'm not popular enough/ can't afford it at this time, but I'll be walking around. I'll probably be wearing some kind of space-themed Japanese fox mask with my logo on it, and my badge will say wastedtimeee, so please feel free to say hi if you happen to be there. I warn you though, I am a bit shy with new people, so it may take a bit of talking for the conversation to become less awkward and stilted.
