Miral Pin-up (Shading and Coloring Practice)

I'm intending to devote at least a few hours once a week to buckling down and working on new color techniques, anatomy and line art practice, whatever I can do to make a earnest go of really improving my art. I'm also starting to save up for an online art class probably after Christmas as right now extra funds have been allocated to Christmas presents for friends and relatives.
I did my best to interpret the lessons in the few shading technique vids I watched from the same artist and put them into practice, but it's not perfect. While having the associated brush packs, the actual brush use is the part that's usually blown through by a lot of artist, and trying to read the tiny text of which brush is being used at which time is next to impossible, especially because I don't have a total grasp on when to use what. But you have to start somewhere, right?
