Lost Sketch Collection (Inui and Misfit)
Added 2023-05-30 23:52:49 +0000 UTCYeah, I almost forgot about these, and was only reminded when a few friends of mine came for a visit last week and one of them wanted a little souvenir sketch. These were actually drawn back in February when I had another visitor and we did a few drawing jams together. Not sure if...anyone wants to be named in this, even user-named, so I'll avert that for the moment.
Some of the early lines in Season 4 of aggretsuko have Haida simping so hard for Retsuko he actively dumps on Inui. Going so far as to call her 'ordinary' while Retsuko is 'extrodinary' or something to that effect. Basically the show tries to weirdly lampshade the fact that Retsuko's life is increasingly insane, and not that of a simple 'office worker' as was the missive of the series. I tell ya, it didn't help...especially cause of my Inui bias. But still, that's crap writing. Why can't the show stay in the office? And when it does, why does it have to be a fucking espionage cooking books insane plotline? Crap writing...
Anyway, to diffuse this rant, I just want to say I came away from that feeling Inui deserved more love. So here's some rough sketches of my OC treating her right...and maybe simping a little himself.
