-First was a re-attempt at drawing the rescue mission piece from last year. If I'm totally honest I'm to happy with how it turned out, (Even right after finishing it, I wasn't) I felt that it was too overworked and the lighting wasn't the best choice. So for this one, I thought about pushing it a lot more and also add a bit more humour to the piece, which there was supposed to be in the first one, bit it just didn't read as well as I would have liked lol.
-Next are a couple of Cypress sketches, wearing clothes (I know, right! Crazy) I actually think I might prefer him in the shirt tbh xD
-Then we have Neighli of course. ;)
-Elf woman sketch, though she looks too human. I think I might try and take a different approach to the elves.
-Shaded Samoorai
-With Bloodborne and Elden Ring now taking the top place as my favourite games, I thought I'd try to design an enemy/boss as if it had come from the soulsborne series. Here's my take on a chimera. More of a painted sketch.
-A skull headed character. I may develop him more. We'll see ;p
-Finally a sketch of a Mooman in some chillier weather.

I'm not sure if it helps but on a lot of media elves usually have longer faces and the ears are a bit more pointing outwards than diagnolly as you have here. Do take it with a grain of salt though. Finally got to near the end of Elden Ring but man am I having trouble with what I assume is the final boss. I think your Chimera would fit in great in that endgame plant area π

2022-08-23 17:27:28 +0000 UTCThanks! I'll definitely do that. As a side, I love how the Na'vi from avatar had that aspect. Humanoid, but with distinctly alien (kind of feline) features. I want to have that same sort of feel with the elves but maybe in a different direction. π

As to the elf, I've been ranting to you about books in Discord, I know, but the series I'm currently about to finish, Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn has sorta elves that are also described as having sorta feline features. Maybe think about what sort of animals fit elves and see about working their features in. Subtly, less like a cat-man but maybe you could change the shape of the eyes or the like. Just a thought.
