Vertical complexity in this game is just done too well. It clicked after I've found some things purely by accident, and some I've discovered only after I've wait-whatted at videos.

2022-01-08 18:56:20 +0000 UTCYeah, that drunken bastard kicked my ass so hard the first time, I just went the normal way (and ofc. explored and found all the important things mapo missed too) and completely forgot about him until much later :D Both drunkard and lady require to git gud with almost no upgrades n stuff. But he had the shuriken at least, it should work against her aerials if I remember correctly... did not use it, which is even more impressive :D

I would say, maybe go back and practice with your friendly neighborhood undead samurai because he’s great for learning and implementing all of the cool techniques that this game has to offer.

I do have some advice for you about the mechanics in this game. To be fair, there may come a time when the game forces you to learn this, so if you don't want to know then stop reading here. You cannot play this game like its Bloodborne or Dark souls. There is no replacement for deflecting in this game. Step dodging should really only be used on moves with poor tracking like jump attacks. It will drive up posture very quick after they have some damage, and you can face any tough opponent

I've noticed you don't deflect the enemies attacks that much, I'd really recommend practicing it, some bosses are almost impossible without it. (btw. explore places a bit more carefully, there are a lot of very important stuff hidden everywhere like vendors and new tools & upgrades for them)

2022-01-07 20:46:29 +0000 UTCThe best strategy for poison guy take out all AI then run far away and the boss will reset then get that guy to help you and it's a 2v1 best way to make sure the guy survives.
