2025-04-21 19:46:25 +0000 UTCI think Pharm is always scared of intimacy, physical and emotional intimacy, because he is scared of losing control and letting himself fall completely, because as far as In's trauma - that lives in him - is concerned, last time he did that he and his love both died. In was completely fearless and refused to listen to people warning him. some part of them (In and Pharm) probably believes they were punished for that. so, every sweet moment he has with Dean is also always overshadowed by fear and dread. - at least at this point in the story. at 50:36, when Dean was resting his head on Pharm's chest, he was taking comfort in the sound of Pharm's beating heart, reassuring himself that Pharm is there and alive. I think the sound of a heartbeat would've helped the scene to land a bit better, it's easy to miss that that is what's happening there. not just an exhausted Dean collapsing on Pharm mid make-out π€ nah, I'm not already rewatching this again. I just stopped by here real quick for entirely unrelated reasons. π€ΈββοΈ
