Not for a single moment, even when both characters were on screen together, did I stop to think it was the same actor. They made me completely forget that fact in the moment. Gun was absolutely brilliant in this. I loved the van scene (in the sense that it was incredibly well-acted and powerful, not because it was enjoyable to watch... it was stressful and heartbreaking as hell). Yok's reflection about his mother was so well written. I totally get Fabi when he says he probably wouldn’t have watched this series because of the theme. I was the same. I knew it had great actors and an intriguing storyline, but the political angle made me say "I’ll watch this later" more times than I can count. So thank you, Fabi, for reacting to this and motivating me to finally watch it too, it turned out to be a great experience. And I think that’s one of the beautiful things about sharing your hobbies, in this case, BL series. It encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
