There are no hero’s or villains in the real world. Pete’s philosophy is correct, you just didn’t understand what he was saying without further context.

2025-05-13 13:56:09 +0000 UTCUp until now I would agree Porsche doesn't "like, like" him, or better put he's yet to realise that he likes him, but he's very much aware of him and interestingly, for the first time in the series, cares what someone thinks of him. I don't think Porsche realises that he's a likely Bisexual king so he's yet to put it together but he's definitely attracted. The end scene with Porsche getting into Kinn's space, leaning his head on him, making sure he's comfortable are all signs to that effect. Why he is and why I think he falls deeply, is very much linked to what he shared with Kinn and thanked him for at the end of this ep and what he and Chay spoke on at the end ep 1. Porsche has never had anyone who he could depend on. He's a survivor as someone earlier pointed out but he's had to look after Chay and himself all by himself for as long as he can remember. In ep 1 he tears up when Chay offers to help and says he doesn't have to do it on his own. So understandably he's affected by someone for the first time stepping in and protecting and savinghim from having to fight it alone again. Even earlier that day Kinn stepped out of his protection to pull him to safety and then even later tended his wound (literally stopping him from taking care of it himself). It's no coincidence that when he's drunk and at his most vulnerable that he leans on Kinn's shoulder or falls asleep on Kinn's delectable chest.

It also questions about right and wrong, this show challenges the ideas and beliefs of the viewers about what's right and when does it become wrong. If someone is wrong or doing something people would consider as unorthodox would their intentions and situations in which they are put in make their actions ryt or aleast give a understanding about their actions. I really like that line from pete " in the real world u have no villians or heros." It's true in reality u don't have hero or villlian we are just humans all are good and bad . I like pete so much as I read the novel. They way writer tells about pete story that how his village was in great trouble so kinn's dad helped his village and took care of this granny. And the realtionship between pete and his granny is beautiful. I won't say pete is good charater but I would like to tell he his a grey charater who has been through life and trying his best to live as long he can. And same is for kinn he was born into this world. Did he had a choice ? What piss me off is the direction this show took. The director really didn't do justice to show the stories of these Character so if u haven't read the novel you would find all these ppl as villians. So fabi I would like to tell you watch this show with grey lens.
