Same, I really love it, it is a slow burn and frustrating at times, but throughout I love the friendships and character interactions, it is fun, cute and a light hearted watch, plus love TangFang, Winnie is the best and I called my cat Penguin because of this show lol

2025-05-06 13:15:00 +0000 UTCYes, you sometimes hear people comment how happy they are to see high school students in a BL (like this one) played by actors who are the correct age. But this is one of the obvious drawbacks. When those high school students are played by actors who are 21 or 22 you can have a little more of that romantic kissing. Obviously you don’t want to have a high school romance BL with hard-core sex regardless. Anyway, there are plenty of more mature BL series out there where you can get that stuff. High school BL’s are about first love and cute romance.

There are a couple reasons for this: (1) many of the actors were minors at the time of filming - even the Thai film industry has age standards - although many directors will try to push the envelope - like kissing through the medal. (2) It’s only been fairly recently (last 20 years) that “Western kissing” has been accepted in PDA. Traditional Thai “sniff kisses” are viewed as gestures of intimacy as well as holding hands or the touching of foreheads. A persons head is the most sacred part of the body - the feet the dirtiest. Anything that crosses beyond “the friend zone” can be interpreted as an intimate act by passersby. If you know you know when you see PDA. “Yeah, those two are hot for each other”

And he can be anything he wants, from best wingman to amazing video director. So cute episode... of course Gun knew (nobody is THAT thick), but was insecure and afraid, he wanted Tinn to be clear for him to sort out his own emotions. Watch this again Fabi, you have the moral duty to do so!!!!!! >< I remember this and the last episode to be my favourites. I loved the scene at the bed (that hug u.u), and the crossing of the friend zone line XD. Why is Fourth so gorgeous? Life is so unfair, I should have been Thai (maybe it's for the best, I would be in prison for stalking). Un abrazo, oblivious Fabi!

He was scared to face both their feelings, torn between wanting Tinn to say it and not being ready to hear it. In the umbrella scene, they both knew, but Tinn thought he got rejected. Gun trying to kiss him was pure frustration from pretending to be just friends. No wonder Tinn felt emotional whiplash, thinking Gun wasn’t serious, when really he was struggling just as much to cross that line. These two are so good at showing subtle emotions, especially Fourth!

2025-05-05 15:19:31 +0000 UTCThis episode ended so nicely (even though they were pushing their luck for how many times they could start a confession and not finish it 🤬) and I love that they basically showed how insecure Tinn felt. Once Gun said “You think it wasn’t hard for me too?” you could see the relief and realization. Then he could finally think clearly to make a solution lol I think you should watch the umbrella scene again. They didn’t explicitly say it, but there was a point where it was certain they both knew. The subtext before that was that Tinn was skating around saying it outright, but the build up kinda showed Tinn that Gun understood it was about him. The walk was just the confirmation. I think it’s kinda realistic - a lot of the time, especially for teens/young adults, they might not say it outright and just start flirting with each other lol Between this and Our Dating Sim, we have gotten a lot of falling in love 🥰 my heart is full

2025-05-05 15:16:34 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if someone already told you this: กิน (gin) in Thai can mean to drink, to eat or to boink 😄 whenever you see Thai people in dramas talking about cooking, having a meal, eating something, offering someone a drink or food or asking people if they're hungry or telling people that they're hungry... etc. always keep an eye and an ear on the tone and the vibes, they might just be talking about food, but they also might be piling up double entendres. so Gun and Tin devouring food while staring at each other... was aggressively sexual 👀🤭 (I just remembered another example of this you've already seen - I'll post another comment on Until We Meet Again, ep 3)
