Love this!! So fun rewatching - this was one of the first BLs I watched and this world was so new to me (some might argue I am still pretty new if this was my first one 😅) and this second time around I can appriciate it so much more! Very excited to watch more, actually good I am a bit late to watcy this, that means I can binge it almost. Also.. Great actors! I especially love Khaotung and Mix 🔥♥️

2025-06-08 07:41:24 +0000 UTCI knew you would love this show! It has a similar feeling to ITSAY and Love in the big City, so it seemed right up your alley. Some fun facts: 1) The main Actors, Earth and Mix, are very close, to the point that if they announced tomorrow that they are actually married it would come as a surprise to very few people. However during the filming of this show they were actually fighting, now affectionately known as the "EarthMix divorce era". They did end up making up though, and I believe are currently living together. 2) During the scene were Wen's friend asks him "who initiated" the translation is not quite right. What he actually asked him was who topped and who bottomed, and Wen replied that they "took turns" which I believe makes them the 2nd cannon switch couple ever in Thai BL. 3) This was Gemini's first ever acting role, and Forth's first main role! I believe Forth had a side role in F4 Thailand, so he was still very much a newbie too.

This series will give you all the feels, and yes: you will cry 😭 The other thing I kinda forgot, this is also the introduction of Earth and Mix for you. They have top notch chemistry. I think at some stage you should watch A Tale of Thousand Stars. Same director. Great vibe. I'm so happy to rewatch it with you.

On this family tree, mix is the son of OffGun 😂. It’s actually sweet though, the more senior actors looking after the younger or newer actors (because age is not necessarily a factor lol.)

Aunque ITSAY está en otro nivel, MC tiene algo muy cautivador y encantador que transmite muchísimo. Y sí, Pattaya también me llama la atención! Tiene ese aire como de Chinatown Comparto totalmente tu opinión sobre el enfoque más maduro de la historia, que sin duda es uno de sus puntos fuertes. Destaca mucho entre tantos BL que siguen la misma fórmula y los mismos tropes Jajaja, buen punto lo de Heart… no tiene mucho sentido que haga esos sonidos cuando lleva tan poco tiempo sordo 😅 pero bueno, se le puede perdonar jaja AHHHH, QUIERO UN GATO!!! Un abrazote enorme!

Tengo entendido que incluso le aclaran la piel en ciertas imágenes promocionales... ugh. Ohm Pawat lo mismo, o incluso Apo, no entiendo la idea de tratar de "aclararlos" siendo que representan lo más increíblemente atractivo del fenotipo tailandés, que es predominantemente moreno.

Esta serie no tiene una cinematografía tan tan bien lograda en comparación (ITSAY es una obra maestra), pero retrata el mismo tipo de contexto urbano, más propio de la gente común en Tailandia, por lo que ambas series tienen un feeling similar en ese sentido. Me crispa un poco tanta serie BL filmada de tal forma que parece que todos son millonarios y viven en zonas ultra modernas y adineradas. Solo sé cosas básicas sobre Pattaya, pero me llama la atención que hay varios nombres que suenan a chino... hay mucho chino y "chino tailandés" a lo largo de toda Tailandia, pero no sabía que en esta ciudad se daba tanto. O quizás solo resultó asi en la serie, quién sabe jajaja. Pero me gustan los nombres Li Ming, y Wen XD Lo mejor para mí de esta serie (aparte de tener casi puros actores con los que me casaría) es el setup maduro que tiene la relación de los protagonistas. Muy realista, y retrata las problemáticas reales asociadas a ese tipo de situaciones. Esperemos que Tío Jim se vaya ablandando un poco (claro que sí, quién podría resistirse a Mix XD) La primera vez que muestran a Gemini hace sonidos propios de una persona sorda de nacimiento (que me parecieron bastante bien logrados), pero me resultó raro que luego dijeran que perdió la audición hace solo un par de años. Debería hablar casi normalmente, pero bueno, no me voy a poner quisquilloso con eso, me gusta de todas formas ese tipo de representación en las series. Ahora que sé que a Fabi le gustan los gatos soy incluso más fan que antes jajaj. Todo lo que tenga gatos me vuelve loco, y soy fan del gatito Jimbo. Un abrazo!

I will admit, I saw the trailer when the show first came out, so I know about some of the stuff that’s coming, but I really like how they’ve chosen to tell this story! I agree, the cinematography and the editing is really top notch here. Usually they only use sound effects for comedies; when the show is all serious, you’re not going to hear them. Another example is Only Friends, which… wow. Did you react to that one yet? Cause it is messssyyyy…

That might be why it looks different than the usual GMMTV stuff...different intended audience. They do manage to work in lots of Thai cultural stuff that would appeal to an international audience without making it a commercial for the Thai tourist agency, if you know what I mean. I love that none of the characters are stupid...there are humorous moments, but it's not a Comedy, so it feels much more natural. Does Fabi know this show has the same director as 'Bad Buddy'? I always look forward to his cameo appearance, just like Alfred Hitchcock did in all his movies.

I just enjoy the story in this, it feels more than just a BL. Plus absolutely fell in love with GeminiFourth in this and Gaipa (Khao) is absolutely adorable in this, usually his characters have a bit more edge so nice seeing him be a sweetheart. Cannot wait to watch the rest of the series, eagerly awaiting Choco Milkshake now.

Also another fun fact, while shooting this series, Earth and Mix were actually having some “cold fight” and they didn’t really talk to each other at that time. But still they gave such good chemistry in the series. But don’t worry, they reconcile later and now they are still having good and close relationship.

Plus the storyline is beyond amazing. Words can’t even describe how in love I am with Tian & Chief Phupa. Anyways I feel like GeminiFourth kinda over shadow them in this series, because it was our first introduction to Gemini & Fourth also their characters are so sweet on top of their storyline being a highlight of this series. But hey I’ll take EarthMix any way I can get them. I’m also glad this series kinda introduces you to Khaotung!!! FirstKhao are one of my all time favorite ships.

Earth-Mix made a big splash with "A Tale of Thousand Stars" and have been working pretty consistently since then. Mix has done some supporting roles in a couple of series that I really liked as well (Fish Upon the Sky 2021 and Vice Versa 2022 with Jimmy-Sea). You've got First-Khao, another fab pair and, of course, the current "it boyz" Gemini-Fourth. Then there's.... Mark! Oh yeah, a good story too 😂
