yeah, I'm actually scared of watching it because I like GeminiFourth, but maybe that's the only reason I'd enjoy it idk 🤷♂️

That hug at the end meant everything! ❤️ I support watching the Thai version, I didnt really care for it that much but it is Fourth and Gemeni and I would probobly watch them peel eggs. But yeah make sure it is at least a year between because if you start comparing it will not be great.

Would be great to experience the culture of beeing brought up in japan, thailand, south korea, taiwan and so on. You could travel there and experience it but it will not be the same I think. However I am very grateful for beeing Swedish but it is still an intriguing thought to play with :)

2025-06-21 10:46:34 +0000 UTCIf you want more, you should check out the manga, which covers more than the show. It's still not too long, only 9 volumes, but is equally wonderful (or better). The artist does a great job with Aoki's facial expressions.

The finale is so satisfying to see Ida fully own his feelings at last and Aoki get the sweet love he deserves, and I appreciate that they didn't immediately jump to 100 with Hashimoto and Aida either. It's just full of such wholesome sweet vibes! I agree with what you said at the end about Aoki being so weird and Ida being the opposite, and I liked that the way they both came together was portrayed with some nuance in this show rather than just milking it for comedy every time (although the comedy of course hits!) Aoki was my favourite character, I just loved how expressive the actor (Michieda Shunsuke) is! I also watched Ida's actor, Meguro Ren, in the j-drama "Silent" after this and that is one of the best, stunningly beautiful and incredibly well-done portrayals ever, he's an incredible actor in general.

I knew the show was set in high school, but because the actors look so much older, I’ve been seeing them as adults (maybe uni students) this whole time. It just suddenly hit me and now everything feels a bit off! Not sure if I’m making any sense, but yeah… weeeirdd haha

2025-06-20 20:11:04 +0000 UTCI really liked the plaid fabric of their uniform trousers and skirts; we don't see enough plaid that isn't Burberry. I had seen the Thai version of this, but I'm glad to have watched this one...Japanese is more to my taste aesthetically. Something about their culture does negativity in a way I can relate to better, if that makes any sense.

2025-06-20 19:08:02 +0000 UTCNow that you are done with this, since you really liked it, you might want to consider watching the Korean show "Light on Me" at some point. It is a sweet love story filled with good vibes and one of the greenest green flag male leads I have ever seen (not that anyone can outshine P'Dean!). It has more authentic drama than Kieta Hatsukoi, but it is still feel good in the end and one of my favorite Korean BLs. Actually one of my favorite BLs period.
