Even though this comment is over a week since you watched it, I wanted to chime in and say how glad I am that you reacted to this incredible series. For me it is absolutely a 10/10, as there is nothing about it I would want to change. It remains in my top three, along with Bad Buddy and A Tale of 1000 Stars, all of them under the skilled direction of Aof. The cast is incredible, the script is strong, and the cinematography is beautiful.

I was very happy to relive the joy, pain, & suffering again because it was with you! 🤭 I'm so glad you thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely top 3 for me too! We need more quality series like this. For me, it was beyond a BL. This was also a story about family and real life. I saw myself in each character and could relate and empathize with all their experiences/struggles. 💛

It was wholesome, the characters felt like real people, the acting and cinematography were great, it was very emotional (sometimes raw emotional) and they wraped it up nicely in the end. The time jump at the end was a little confusing for me, because at first it said 2 months, but then it felt like it was way more than that… like a couple of years? Li Ming’s mom didn’t have a daughter with Tong when she came back to take Li Ming with her, right? Maybe I missed that. Probably. . But some other things didn’t quite fit for me in the timeline at the end either. Heart not speaking… that bugged me throughout the whole series. I know I should adopt a particular lens about this, like Fabi says... maybe he has some trauma and lost all confidence to speak, but… oh well. It just disappointed me that in such a well-scripted series, they let something like this slip by. Or at least, they didn’t explain it properly in-show. Also, they all learned sign language very quickly hahaha. In my experience, I've seen it usually takes a bit more time for people to be that fluent. Especially Heart’s parents, they went from zero for years to being super comfortable with it in just weeks XD. Not a fan of Gaipa and Alan pairing up… it was the obvious thing to do in the show because, of course, they’re Khao/First. But that’s exactly why I didn’t want it to happen. It felt like it was done solely for the sake of shipping. The actors all did a great job in this, but my MVP votes go to Fourth and Khao. Oh my Khaotung… why does GMMTV love to make you suffer so much? XD It was worth it though, it made for a great show...thanks for your sacrifice XD

For those who are born deaf, or become deaf early in life, learning to speak can be difficult because they haven't heard the sounds of language. For people like Heart who’ve become deaf later in life often stop speaking because it can become hard to vocalize speech without auditory feedback or they just don’t feel comfortable speaking without auditory feedback. Keep in mind this doesn’t apply to everyone.

It is top-tier (I myself like it even more than Moonlight Chicken, which I loved). It has so much realistic emotional resonance. As an added bonus, Khaotung plays a minor role in it.

It is allot like a color that was once popular in the U.S, mostly for appliances, in the 50's and 60's. A color I associate with my grandmother's kitchen I guess.

She wasn't fit to be a mom earlier in her life (and she knew it). She finally is somewhat together and is trying to make some amends. You can't undo the past, all you can do is try to make up for your mistakes.
