It must have been so hard for him, not only showing his childhood trauma in a movie for all to see, but also having to explain it to a kid so he could act it, as if it was something detached from him. We got to see more of Si Won’s childhood through the movie, and it was so well done, and very meta, like when they used the cinematography techniques they learned at university XD. This is one of the most realistic first kisses in BL. They’re often not grandiose, but timid, a little awkward, and they make you feel fuzzy and special. They captured that here and it was beautiful.

The first season was good but needed the budget but the second season has everything the 1st season needed: longer episodes, upscale production and packed cast. Highly recommended! ❤️

The story is short and simple but it has a lot of depth and the characters are hard to forget. And the cinematography is a top tier. It’s one of those shows I enjoy rewatching, so I’m happy I can watch it again now with you! I’m waiting for To My Star next 😂 It’s another amazing story by Hwang Da Seul. The first season is more fun and light, but season two gets more serious and deeper. It’s my favorite Korean BL and I’m really curious what you’ll think. And you should definitely watch Where Your Eyes Linger made by the same team. It was the first Korean BL and the one that started it all!
