2022-06-08 03:32:43 +0000 UTCI've been waiting for this episode. I think many of us have, Mapo. Malenia is my favorite boss in the FromSoft catalog, hands down, and congrats on your victory. hard fought, well earned. I didn't use Bloodhound Step, either. It makes the fight too easy, imo.

2022-06-07 16:22:52 +0000 UTCI feel you with this fight. I'm not nearly as good at this game as you are but somehow after many many hours I managed to defeat her. She's been rated one of if not Fromsoft's hardest boss. Your reaction to the second phase was pretty much mine. Then I went to hope that the second phase would be more of a giant epic and hopefully a little less technical match up. My soul died a bit when I figured out that was not the case. Now that you've beaten her you should look up "Let me solo her" when you get the chance.

Isshin w/o kuro's charm and demon bell active is the perfect boss with respect to challenge vs. reward for me. Defeating her without bloodhound step is truly a test of patience, concentration and skill. Nicely done.
